Charles Farley: Tell us what inspired your stage name?
Hank Blue: Well, Hank is my favorite name, and the Blue part was basically conceived because the guy I was with a night before I started camming told me I had “some ridiculously beautiful blue eyes.” It just stuck with me, so I decided to use it.

CF: What drew you to cam modeling? What has it taught you about yourself?
HB: I’m going to be honest. The money drew me to it initially. But I stayed because I have made some truly amazing connections. Be it the doctors who fell for my medical physiopathology nerd talk, or some guys who’re as crazy about art as I am ... And what has it taught me? Well, this may sound corny, but I actually got to know myself a whole lot better. I used to be pretty shy and self-conscious. It’s really helped with my public speaking fears.

CF: How has camming changed your life?
HB: It extended my perspective. I’ve arrived at the realization that there are very intriguing men out there, and some of them have really buttered my croissant. (laughs) I think I’m the only person who uses this expression. It basically means that they sometimes manage to get my absolute full attention and make me smile like a teenager falling in love for the first time. Yup, I’m pretty corny. Go grab some pop-corn!

CF: What are you most passionate about? How do you geek out?
HB: (laughs) Really! Go get that pop-corn, this could take a while. Well, I am drunk-in-love with art. I’ve been painting since I was 5. I even got a full scholarship to Art School, but I chose Medical School instead. My favorite artists range from Rothko, Picasso, Dali, to Combas, and even Todd Bienvenu! I’m also in love with Shakespeare.

CF: You have an amazing body! What do you do to stay fit?
HB: I try to go to the gym 6 times a week. I cannot stress the word “try” enough. (laughs) Other than that, I get my cardio from swimming against the ocean waves. It might sound dramatic, I know. But the scene is basically me getting smashed in the face by colossally powerful waves as I struggle to perfect my butterfly stroke.

CF: What do you do in your spare time? How do you relax when you’re not performing?
HB: I try to do the most spontaneous thing available. No joke! I jump in a friend’s car and go somewhere cool I’ve never been before. Once, I hopped on someone’s yacht and went to Aruba, a little island in the middle of nowhere. That was pretty amazing. I’m either extremely outgoing or not at all. Sometimes I might just spend loads of time painting and eating cheesecake all day.

CF: What are your favorite songs to perform to?
HB: This is such a funny question because I haven’t played music in my room in weeks. I do love the classics, like Vivaldi, and any slow corny song by Drake or the Weeknd. But I engage so much with whomever I’m talking to that I don’t really listen to music. And when I do, I am peculiarly picky.

CF: What are some of your favorite movies and shows?
HB: My favorite movie of all time is Schindler’s List. I always cry at the end because my grandmother is Jewish and has gone through those hardships. Some of my other favorites are The Godfather, Scarface, The Gambler (especially John Goodman’s speech at the bar), Fight Club and any Tarantino film. Seriously! I love the guy! Especially Django and Inglorious Basterds. And I have to see Call Me By Your Name. I just have to!

I don’t really watch TV Shows. I tend to stay away from anything that addictive … except for love (laughs). I let that thing run through my veins. Sometimes it messes me up, but I cannot live without that feeling.

CF: You mentioned your love of Shakespeare. Are you a big reader?
HB: I love his sonnets. I’ve even got some memorized. Most of the time I read Medical books for school, but when I get to read for pleasure it’s usually something like The Outsiders or The Picture of Dorian Gray.

CF: What fetish or role-play scenario do you enjoy the most when on cam?
HB: Some of the relationships I have are so complex, I don’t need those. But biting nipples and licking ass never hurt nobody! (laughs) I’ve been told that I’m “WOW” good at any kind of role-play or fantasy. I tend to get very descriptive.
